LEGO®MINDSTORMS® EDUCATION CURRICULUM

Our LEGO®MINDSTORMS® Robotics curriculum has been developed to engage and motivate middle school students, piquing their interest in learning design, engineering, and coding using motorized models and simple programming.

In addition to offering a Lego® Mindstorm® Education curriculum , our robotics training center is an authorized First Lego League challenge team.

FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge

FIRST® LEGO® League gives elementary and middle school students the opportunity to work and create together to solve a common problem.
The really cool thing about FIRST® LEGO® League is...all skill levels are welcomed and needed, technical or non-technical.

Adult coaches guide students as they gain skills and confidence in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Each year in August, FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge teams are introduced to a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus
and research on.

Learn Python and Robotics

Learn key concepts of robotic systems and human-robot interaction (HRI).

Determine how robotic automation is suitable for specific work tasks.

Identify basic robotic subsystems and recognize how these subsystems. work together to influence the function of greater robotic systems.

Evaluate how automated technologies can be implemented and determine what barriers exist to prevent such implementation.

Explore basic to intermediate programing in PYTHON.

Identify the basics of sensing and control in robotic applications.

Future-Ready Skills Today

Our Robotics lessons have been primarily written to address key programming concepts through the exploration of real life problems linked to the theme of LEGO® Robotics.

Over the course of these lessons, students will develop their design and computational thinking skills. This material includes many cross-curricular opportunities that can impact other subject areas such as science, mathematics, and engineering
design technology.
